A lyrical, memory-driven song cycle that traces three generations of women through love, silence, and inherited trauma. Told in three acts across the daughter’s life, the “unforgettable modern musical” (The Scoop) moves fluidly through live music to blur reality with recollection.

From the award-winning team behind 'Bimbo' (Holden Street Theatres Award 2023) comes a new work of bold feminist theatre.

“Unmothered bridges generational female perspectives through tenderness, honesty, and beautifully crafted storytelling.” The Scoop

Created by a powerhouse team of South Australian artists, 'unmothered' examines the complexities of maternal love: the longing to be nurtured, the fear of repeating harm, and the struggle to break cycles of silence.

2026 will be the 50th anniversary since ABBA's released ARRIVAL their most famous album, released in 1976. The album was followed up with ABBA’s historical 1977 tour of Australia.

What a time to be alive! Just two weeks in March ’77 when Australia was consumed with the joy and the love of ABBA mania. ARRIVAL became the No.1 album of that year, and from which came five No.1 hits, including Dancing Queen, Fernando and Knowing Me Knowing You.

Uniquely presented, this visual and exciting show highlights all songs from that album – and is guaranteed to touch your emotions. It connects those wonderful ABBA years of the 1970s to the celebration of ABBA’s 2021 reunion of Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha and Frida with new music.
What a perfect and uplifting story!
